Staszko Busts

According to Owais Ahmed, Martin Staszko was recently eliminated after multiple bets went in preflop in a hand of no-limit hold'em. Staszko was eventually all in and at risk with two jacks against Ahmed's ace-queen, and Ahmed caught a queen on the flop, to eliminated Staszko.

Ahmed also mentioned that he and Staszko had just gotten into a preflop raising war the hand before.

Brown "Used Up His Run Good"

Andrew Brown and Jason Lavallee were heads up with the board reading {a-Spades} {j-Spades} {5-Hearts} . Lavallee led out, Brown raised, and Lavallee called. The turn was the {5-Spades} , and Lavallee checked. Smith bet, and Lavallee called.

When the dealer pulled in Brown's bet, he noticed it was a a few green T25 chips short. Brown tossed them forward, and Lavallee made a joke about Brown shorting him.

"Oh yeah," Brown chuckled. "That's me. The angle-shooter."

Lavallee checked dark before the {6-Spades} completed the board, and Brown checked behind. Lavallee tabled {k-Spades} {8-Diamonds} for the nut-flush, and Brown unhappily spiked {a-Diamonds} {j-Hearts} onto the felt.
