Andy Bloch Eliminated in 10th Place ($22,386)

Andy Bloch (Day 2) - 10th Place
Andy Bloch (Day 2) - 10th Place

Larry Wright raised to 22,000 in the cutoff, Andy Bloch three-bet jammed for 52,000 on the button, and the action folded back to Wright, who quickly called.

Wright patted, and Bloch drew one, turning over an ace. Wright fanned {j-}{10-}{7-}{4-}{2-} for a jack-ten, and Bloch showed {7-}{6-}{5-}{2-}, drawing to any three, four, eight, nine, ten, or jack.

His downcard was a queen however, eliminating him in tenth place. Wright started clapping when he saw that Bloch's card was a queen, and Bloch clapped back to mock him. After Bloch exited, Nick Schulman and Ashton Griffin tried to explain to Wright that he was breaking etiquette, but Wright refused to listen, claiming that Bloch, "wouldn't shake his hand yesterday."

Larry Wright Eliminated in 9th Place ($22,386)

Larry Wright - 9th Place
Larry Wright - 9th Place

The action folded to Larry Wright, who raised out of the small blind. Nick Schulman pushed two towers of pink T5,000 chips forward, three-betting all in for effectively 170,000 or so, and Wright immediately called all in.

Wright drew one, flashing an ace, and Schulman stood pat. Schulman fanned {j-}{10-}{6-}{4-}{2-}, and Wright showed {8-}{7-}{5-}{4-}. Wright peaked at his downcard, and flipped over another four, giving him a pair and eliminating him in ninth place.

We're now off to the Pavillion Room stage, where the official final table will stream live on WSOP.com. We'll have the unofficial final table redraw and counts for you shortly

Ali Eslami Eliminated in 8th Place ($26,004)

Ali Eslami - 8th Place
Ali Eslami - 8th Place

The action folded to Ali Eslami, who raised to 120,000 or so from the cutoff, leaving one yellow T1,000 chip behind as a card protector. Nick Schulman called out of the small blind, and the big blind released.

Schulman stood pat, Eslami drew one, and Schulman fanned {9-}{8-}{5-}{3-}{2-}, thinking Eslami was all in. He was not, and when he received a {j-} he folded his jack-seven face up. Schulman wasn't happy about what Eslami did, but Eslami said he does it in every tournament.

"I want the chip-and-a-chair story!" Eslami admitted. "I have a shot at something epic!"

The next hand, Eslami was all in with one-third of an ante, and the action folded to George Danzer, who raised to 20,000 in middle position. Nick Schulman called on the button, and Bob Bright called out of the small blind.

The action checked to Schulman, who fired 75,000, and Bright thought for a long time, then called. Danzer folded, and Schulman tabled {9-}{8-}{6-}{5-}{3-}. Bright looked frustrated, and it's no surprise - he showed {9-}{8-}{6-}{5-}{4-}, which is one card worse than Schulman's hand.

Schulman was pulling in the monster side pot, and Eslami announced that he was drawing live for the antes. He turned over {8-}{7-}, then turned over a {4-}.

"Still drawing live," he said.

Eslami turned over a {3-}.

"Still drawing live."

The last card he placed on the far left, thinking it was a deuce, and it was no-sided, but it was an ace, eliminating him in ninth place.

We're now at an official final table, and play will resume in 20 minutes or so.

Wattell checked and Danzer fired 45,000. Bright and Wattell both mucked their hands and Bright was left more crippled than he was to start the hand.

Two hands later Bright was all in for his last 5,000 against Mike Wattel. Both players took one and Bright fanned {9-}{8-}{6-}{4-}. Wattell showed {6-}{4-}{3-}{2-} and pulled his card first, a {K-Diamonds}.

Bright looks at his card. "Nope," said Bright. "You win," as he tabled the {A-Clubs}.

Bright will take home $32,080 for his efforts.

Past Champions Collide

Nick Schulman Crushing The Competition
Nick Schulman Crushing The Competition

Action folded around to John Juanda's small blind and Juanda made it 42,000 to go. Nick Schulman called out of the big blind and the two players that have won this event in the past were heads up to the draw.

Juanda took two cards and Schulman drew one. Juanda led out for 82,000 and Schulman took about a minute to raise to 176,000 total. Juanda did not look pleased about this bet but announced a call anyways.

Schulman fanned {9-}{6-}{5-}{3-}{2-} and a dejected Juanda mucked his ninety-seven.

With that pot Nick Schulman is well over 1,200,000 in chips.

John Juanda Eliminated in 6th Place ($41,270)

John Juanda - 6th Place

John Juanda open-shoved his last 191,000 from the hijack seat, and Ashton Griffin re-shoved on the button. Both blinds released, and we were off to the draw.

"Draw," the dealer announced.

"What?" Juanda asked.

"Draw," the dealer repeated.

Juanda didn't realized that Griffin was on the button, and re-checked his cards. He flashed the {k-Diamonds} to one side of the table (one of our reporters saw it) and then tossed it away. The dealer burned a card, dealt a card face down, and slit it to Juanda.

By this point, Griffin had spread {j-}{10-}{7-}{4-}{3-}, and Juanda turned over {9-}{7-}{5-}{2-}, then stood up.

"I only have to beat a jack?" Juanda asked. "I can sit back down now."

"He's Asian," Nick Schulman announced. "This could take awhile."

"No," Juanda said after looking at his card.

He turned over the {k-Hearts}, and looked confused.

"Did you give me the same card?" he asked the dealer, without the hint of a smile on his face.

Tournament Director "Redbull" Robbie Thompson and the dealer both verified that it was a different card, and Juanda was announced as the sixth-place finisher. Juanda stuck around for a few minutes, and requested that the staff check if the card was new, and not the one he discarded. After verification from the live stream, it was confirmed that Juanda was indeed given a new card.

Juanda will not being defending his title, but a fourth, fourth, first and sixth is still extremely impressive.

Ashton Griffin open-shoved from under the gun, and Mike Wattel tanked for over a minute, then called on his direct left. The action folded behind, and Griffin drew one. Wattel stood pat with {9-}{7-}{6-}{4-}{3-}.

Griffin was drawing thin with {9-}{7-}{5-}{4-}, and grabbed his backpack before the dealer dealt him his downcard. He quickly turned over a queen, then exited the Pavillion stage.

Nick Schulman opened to 55,000 from under the gun, Benjamin Parker called all in for just 50,000 from the small blind, and George Danzer called the full raise from the big.

Parker stood pat, Danzer drew one, and Schulman stood pat. Both Danzer and Schulman checked. Schulman tabled {9-}{8-}{5-}{4-}{2-} for a ninety-eight, and Parker shook his head before tabling a queen-ten. Danzer mucked, and Parker was eliminated from the tournament.

George Danzer - 3rd Place
George Danzer - 3rd Place

Mike Wattel folded his button, and George Danzer raised to 60,000 from the small blind. Nick Schulman thought for a moment, then three-bet to 180,000. Danzer tanked, then announced that he was all in.

"How much is it?" Schulman asked the dealer.

Tournament Director Robbie Thompson cut down Danzer's stack, and determined that it was 785,000. Schulman called the very second Thompson gave him the count. Danzer stood pat, and Schulman stood up.

He cut out 785,000 chips out of his own stack, holding his cards in his left hand. He then lifted all five cards up to his face, placed them back down on the felt, and patted behind. Danzer grimaced, and Schulman fanned {10-}{8-}{7-}{6-}{5-}.

Danzer showed {10-}{9-}{4-}{3-}{2-}, and was eliminated. Schulman shook Danzer's hand, and the German exited with his rail
