A Happy Birthday to Mr. Asthon

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Tony Cousineau: {a-Spades}{2-Diamonds} / {a-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{6-Clubs}{q-Spades} / {10-Clubs}
Matthew Ashton: {k-Spades}{2-Spades} / {k-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{10-Spades}{9-Diamonds}/ {2-Clubs}

Hand #50: Tony Cousineau completed with the {A-Diamonds} showing and Matthew Ashton, who is actually celebrating his birthday today, called with the {K-Diamonds} up. Ashton proceeded to call bets on fourth and fifth streets before betting when Cousineau checked on sixth. Both players then checked seventh and Cousineau showed that he had started with a pair of aces.

Unfortunately for him, that's what he ended with while Ashton improved to kings and deuces to win the pot.

Hand #42: Yuval Bronshtein completed and received a call from Tony Cousineau. From there, Matthew Ashton raised, the other two players called and Bronshtein led out on fourth street. Cousineau got out of the way, and Ashton made the call. The action repeated itself on fifth and then Ashton led out on sixth when he paired his queen. Bronshtein made the call and then both players checked seventh.

Ashton revealed queens and fives for two pair, which was good as Bronshtein double checked his cards and then sent them to the muck.
