The Mystery of the Missing Small Blind

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

David Vamplew was just raking in a big pot and was the big blind right after that. Josh Brikis was the small blind in that hand and had put his small blind already in he said. There was no small blind in front of him though, and the dealer requested Brikis to get 1,000 in front of him. Brikis was certain that he had put it in and said that Vamplew must have had raked it in while getting the chips from the pot he won just before. Vamplew wasn't so certain though and refused to put in 1,000 for Brikis.

The floor was called over and the dealer explained the situation. The brush didn't look to sure what to do about it and he looked liked he was expecting the players to resolve the situation themselves. That wasn't the case though as both Brikis and Vamplew refused to put in any more chips. David Sands proposed that the floor would check the camera's and that they would play another hand in the process. The floor agreed on just that and Brikis now put in a 1,000 more. He would get that back from Vamplew if the recordings would prove that he put it in in the first place. We shall see what happens.
