More For Ivey

Level 12

Jennifer Harman opened with a raise from early position and Phil Ivey three-bet from the button. Jordan Morgan called out of the big blind and Harman called as well.

The trio took in a flop that read {7-Hearts}{9-Spades}{K-Clubs} and Morgan checked. Harman checked as well and Ivey fired out a bet. Morgan called and Harman let it go. The turn was the {2-Clubs} and Morgan check-called another bet from Ivey. The river was the {4-Diamonds} and Morgan checked once more, prompting a final bet from Ivey. Morgan called but mucked his cards after Ivey showed {A-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{5-Hearts} for kings and sevens for a high and a seventy-five for his low. Ivey scooped the pot and is now on 64,000.

Seidel Triples Up

Level 12

We arrived at the table to find Erik Seidel just about all in before the flop. He had just 400 left and was in the hand against Alex Bilokur and Matt Glantz. The flop came down {10-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{J-Diamonds} and Bilokur led with a bet. Glantz called and Seidel called all in for his last 400.

Fourth street was the {5-Spades} and Bilokur led again. Glantz stuck around and the {10-Hearts} finished off the board. Bilokur moved all in for his last 2,400 and Glantz threw away his hand. Bilokur showed {K-Spades}{K-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} and won the side pot, but eventually lost the main pot as Seidel showed {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{j-Clubs}. The eight-time WSOP champion is now sitting on a stack of about 21,000 while Bilokur has merely 9,000 behind.

Greenstein Gets Quartered

Level 13

Action folded to Barry Greenstein's small blind and he raised the action. Pat Pezzin flat called from the big blind and the two saw the {Q-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} flop hit the felt. Greenstein led and Pezzin called. The {2-Spades} turned and Greenstein led once more only to find Pezzin with another quick call.

The {5-Spades} rivered and Greenstein fired one more bet. On this street, however, Pezzin put out a raise which Greenstein quickly called.

Pezzin tabled {A-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{10-Hearts}{3-Spades} for a flush and the nut low and Greenstein showed {A-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{3-Hearts} for the same nut low and a worse high. Greenstein took back a quarter of the pot while Pezzin grabbed the other three quarters. Pezzin is now on about 50,000 to Greenstein's 12,000.
