Pateychuk Doubles With Aces, Still Short

Level 2 : 50/100, 0 ante

EPT Sanremo 2011 winner Andrey Pateychuk just doubled up with aces up against kings pre flop all in. When we arrived all the cards were already on their back and Pateychuk's {A-Spades}{A-Hearts} prevailed over his neighbors {K-Hearts}{K-Clubs} on {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} | {J-Clubs} | {2-Spades}. Pateychuk is still short though, having seemingly already lost a big pot early on. He's still in contention, playing 21 and a half big blind.

Baker Turns a Set

Level 1 : 25/50, 0 ante

When we walked up the action was already on the turn: {6-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{3-Spades} | {7-Clubs}. The big blind checked to Amanda Baker and the pot was quite sizable. Baker bet 650 and got an immediate call. The river brought the {J-Spades} to the table and the big blind, without even looking it seemed, checked. Baker thought for two seconds before tossing out a 1,000 and 500 chip, announcing she bet 1,200. The big blind called instantly and held his {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts} in front of him. That was not good enough though, as Baker showed {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}. Baker is off to a good start and well over 10,000 now.
