Bonomo Follows Seivers Lead

Level 4 : 75/150, 0 ante
Justin Bonomo
Justin Bonomo

At the beginning of the day we wrote that one table in particular was though. Scott Seiver just busted that table though, and now Justin Bonomo is also gone.

Anthony Spinella opened the button to 350 and the small blind made the call. From the big blind Justin Bonomo pushed for 1,825 more. Spinella folded but after a little bit of thinking, the small blind decided to call. Bonomo showed his {Ac]{7-Spades} and Spinella snap said he folded {A-}{6-}. Bad news was coming though as the small blind showed {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}.

The flop ({2-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{4-Spades}), turn ({J-Diamonds}) and river ({J-Hearts}) were no help for Bonomo who wished the table all the best of luck and left for the exit.

Dunst Eliminates Johnson

Level 3 : 50/100, 0 ante
Tony Dunst
Tony Dunst

Everyone folded to the hijack, who raised to 200. Tony Dunst, in the cutoff, reraised to 600. After the small blind folded, Marco Johnson, went all in from the big blind for his final 2,900. The player in the hijack folded and Dunst called.

It was a classic race with Dunst holding {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds} and Johnson {A-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}. The board came {10-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{5-Spades}{3-Clubs} and was no help to Johnson as Dunst adds to his stack.

Cunningham Out

Level 3 : 50/100, 0 ante
Allen Cunningham
Allen Cunningham

A player in mid position just opened to 250 and from the cutoff Allen Cunningham showed interest. The big blind also came along and the three of them had {6-Hearts}{5-Spades}{2-Hearts} to work with. The big blind checked to the initial-raiser who followed up his preflop agression with a 425 continuation-bet. Cunningham made it 2,000 with just 250 behind. The big blind now double checked his cards and announced that he was allin. The initial-raiser folded eventually after which Cunningham shipped in his remaining 250 to make the call.

Cunningham showed {9-Spades}{9-Clubs} for an over pair while the big blind had {3-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for a gutshot and flushdraw. The turn was the {K-Hearts} which made the big blind Cunningham's executioner. The river {J-Diamonds} could not help the 5 time bracelet winner and he departed the Brasilia Room.
