Frankenberger Gets Scooped

Level 1

Badacey

A middle positioned player opened with a raise and it folded around to Andy Frankenberger in the big blind. He tossed out a call and both players took two new cards at the first draw. They both opted to check the next betting round, with Frankenberger pulling one new card and his opponent still taking two. Frankenberger led out with a bet and his opponent called to go to the final draw.

Frankenberger stood pat on the last draw while his opponent pulled one card. Frankenberger put out one last bet on the final betting round and found a call. Frankenberger's opponent tabled {9-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{5-Spades}{2-Spades}{A-Diamonds} for a ninety-six low and a sixty-five badugi. This was good for the scoop and Frankenberger's cards were pulled into the muck. With this hit he's down to about 4,200 in chips.

Pat Eighty-Seven For Abrams

Level 2

No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw

Paul Volpe, winner of Event #13: $10,000 No-Limit 2-7 Draw Lowball Championship, was on the button and cut out a raise to 75. Scott Abrams made it 275 to go from the small blind and it folded back to Volpe who called.

Sexton: {A-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}
