Hellmuth Active

Level 11 : 100/100, 600 ante
Phil Hellmuth
Phil Hellmuth

Phil Hellmuth has been active already, taking advantage of some tight play as the event closes in on the bubble.

First we saw him pick up a pot with a turn bet, claiming he'd hit the two-diamond jack-high flop relatively hard.

Then he grabbed another when the player to his left bet 2,900 into a {k-Spades}{4-Clubs}{3-Hearts} flop. Hellmuth responded with a raise to 6,500 and it was enough to force a fold.

This time he laid claim to a two-pair hand and even flashed the table his cards to prove it.
