Raymer Over Martin

Level 14

Omaha 8

Greg Raymer raised it up from the button and found a call from Trevor Jay Martin in the big blind. The flop came down {K-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{9-Hearts} and Martin led into the raiser. Raymer flatted and the {2-Spades} fell on fourth street. Martin fired again and Raymer stuck around.

The {J-Clubs} completed the board and Martin bet one last time. Raymer called and Martin showed {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{4-Hearts}. Raymer had that beat, however, as he showed {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{4-Spades}, playing his king-four for two pair. Raymer scooped the pot and now has about 53,000 in chips.

Filippi Over Negreanu

Level 15

Stud

Negreanu: {x-}{x-} / {A-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{9-Clubs} / {x-}
Filippi: {x-}{x-} / {A-Spades}{3-Spades}{2-Hearts}{6-Hearts} / {x-}

We caught the following hand just before the last 20-minute break.

Picking up with the action on fourth street, we saw Daniel Negreanu lead out with a bet against Amnon Filippi. Filippi called and the same action happened on fifth street. On sixth, Negreanu kept his aggression up with another bet. This time, however, Filippi came over the top with a raise. Negreanu called and checked in the dark on seventh. Filippi fired out one final bet. Negreanu thought for about 20 seconds before letting his hand go.

"This is what I started with," said Filippi, showing {A-Hearts}{9-Hearts}. He then rolled over his seventh street card - the {8-Hearts}, showing that he made his heart flush.

Filippi took down the pot and now has about 46,000 while Negreanu has dropped to 29,500.

Ivey Raises Turn

Level 15

No-Limit Hold'em

An early position player opened to 3,000 and it folded around to Phil Ivey in the small blind. He tossed forward a call and Jacobo Fernandez came along from the big blind. All three players checked the {2-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} flop, allowing the {10-Hearts} to hit the turn. Ivey checked for a second time and Fernandez fired out a bet. The original raiser called and action came back to Ivey. He slid out a raise to 12,000 total, prompting folds from both of his opponents.

Ivey raked in the pot and now has about 72,000 in chips.
