Day 1 Completed
And that's another new bracelet winner as Gregor "soulsntfaces" Muller has won his first WSOP bracelet in Event #67: $500 Limit Hold'em for $45,101 and the WSOP Europe Package. The first limit tournament of the GGPoker WSOP Online Bracelets schedule attracted 706 players to create a prize pool of $335,350.
Muller has recorded two previous live cashes back in 2010 and 2016 in his home country of Austria and cashed in the Mini Main Event for $1,541. This cash today is his biggest to date on at least GGPoker and no other results show up on his username.
Muller defeated Brunno Botteon heads-up who in comparison is a bit of a more well-known player. In the live poker scene, Botteon might only have cashed for $78,246, his online results amount to much more. The online grinder's biggest cash online was for $265,463 with a few more six-figure scores in his collection.
They were joined by other familiar names on the final table like GGPoker Twitch Streamer Michiel "Easterdamnz" Van Elsacker and Davide "ElPapuGomez" Suriano.

When the 3-hour late registration period closed, there were only 345 players left out of all the entries to compete for a spot in the top 98 players who would get paid at least $1,126. Two hours later, it was time for the bubble and both "Sam Hinkie" and Twitch Streamer Andre "bluffpatrol_dre" Ebert busted for the rest of the field to be in the money.
Juha Helppi, Eoghan "DrRoche" O'Dea, Dan Smith, Dylan "mezcal" Linde, Erik Seidel. Benny Glaser, Preston "TikTokImaClk" Lee, Niklas Astedt, Matt "DNSFD" Vengrin all busted before the field had been reduced to the final two tables.
It would take just over two hours after the bubble burst before the final table was reached. Rui Ferreira, Connor Drinan, Anson "Tara@0z" Tsang all busted before Wei "dugui777" Zhao and Ken "diabloking" Okada were both eliminated at almost the same time.
Anmol "bemyfriend" Srivats came into the final table with the chip lead but it would be Van Elsacker who would take out Hong Kong "Fall Oh Gutz" Nguyen and Michael "Blank0DMT" Schwartz (FRA). Botteon busted Suriano shortly after to leave Drew "BigPavelski" Soik as the only player with fewer than three big bets. Soik managed to claw some chips but then lost them all to Botteon too.
Now Van Elsacker was the shortest stack at the table and before losing a chunk to Srivats, doubling up through Botteon and then losing it all again to the Brazilian. Ten minutes later, Srivats five-bet shoved with ace-queen and was ahead against the queen-six of Muller but the six on the flop spelled the end of his tournament run.
Heads-up play lasted just under 30 minutes with Muller increasing his chip lead. Even though Botteon managed to double up once by hitting the river for the higher pair, soon after he called the four-bet of Muller for his tournament lifre with seven-six. Muller had queen-jack and Botteon flopped two pair but saw his hopes dashed on the turn when Muller hit the higher two pair to claim the victory and held when the river completed the board.
