George Alexander opened under the gun to 11,000 and Michael Savakinas defended his big blind to see the 
flop.
Both players checked to the 
turn, where Savakinas bet 12,000. Alexander called, leaving less than the pot behind. Savakinas followed through on the 
river, betting the pot and putting Alexander to the test.
After pondering his move for a few minutes, Alexander made the call turning over 
and Savakinas mucked. "I tried, guys" said Savakinas on the money bubble.
At nearby tables, Luis Velador and Anthony Genosa hit the rail leaving the field two away from the money.
