When is the 2022 WSOP?
The 2022 World Series of Poker (WSOP) returns to its traditional summer timeslot and will take place from Tuesday, May 31 through Wednesday, July 20, 2022.
"We are excited to usher in a new era of WSOP next summer," said World Series of Poker Senior Vice President, Ty Stewart.
Award-winning Hollywood actor and star of 'Wedding Crashers' & 'Old School' Vince Vaughn will be the 2022 WSOP Master of Ceremonies, with the World Series welcoming some of the best poker players from around the world to Las Vegas.
“I am honored to be selected as the Master of Ceremonies for what is set to be the most anticipated World Series of Poker tournament ever,” said Vaughn. “Poker has long been one of my favorite sports, so to be a part of something as historic as the WSOP finally moving to the Strip is an absolute dream.”

When is the 2022 WSOP Main Event?
The 2022 World Series of Poker Main Event runs from July 3-16, 2022. There will be four starting flights in this year's Main Event, with five 90-minute levels played on Day 1 with cards in the air from 11 a.m. Late registration closes two levels into Day 2 (approx. 2p.m.)
All starting fields will combine for the first time on Saturday, July 9 for Day 3, and play down to a final table on Day 7 on Wednesday, July 13. The traditional day off returns to the schedule, before the WSOP Main Event champion is crowned across two days - Friday, July 15 and Saturday, July 16.

Where will the 2022 WSOP be held?
The 2022 WSOP will be held at the Bally's and Paris Las Vegas Hotels & Casinos in, Nevada. The new Strip location will be a completely new experience for poker players, with the Series having taken place at the Rio All Suite Hotel & Casino for the last 17 years.
There were already hints that the tournament would move, before it was confirmed at the end of the 2021 World Series during the Main Event.
The two properties are linked, as well as being connected to the wider Las Vegas Monorail, allowing World Series of Poker patrons to travel between the two casinos, as well as several other properties on the Las Vegas Strip including Caesars Palace, MGM Grand, and the Convention Center.
Combined, the two venues have 150,000 square feet of tournament capacity featuring 600 poker tables.
Bally's Las Vegas Hotel and Casino
The future Horseshoe Las Vegas, is currently known as Bally's is owned and operated by Caesars Entertainment. The property originally opened in 1973 and is home to 2,812 rooms and over 68,000 square feet of gaming space. At some point during 2022, it will undergo a multimillion dollar rebranding into the Horseshoe around the 2022 World Series of Poker.
The Event Center will host the TV stage of the 2022 World Series of Poker, and this will be where the high-profile final tables take place.
Paris Las Vegas Hotel
The Paris Las Vegas Hotel is also owned and operated by Caesars Entertainment. Opened in 1999 it is substantially younger than its neighbouring property and has 2,917 rooms and almost 100,000 square feet of gaming space. Themed around the French capital, the property features a half-scale replica of the Eiffel tower and a two-thirds sized Arc de Triomphe.
2022 WSOP Schedule
The 2022 WSOP schedule was released in late February, featuring 88 bracelet events. Be sure to check out here what's different about this year's schedule compared to previous years.
Highlights of the schedule include:

Six-time WSOP champion Daniel Negreanu has already released a draft schedule of what he is set to play, with almost $1,000,000 in buy-ins — and that's before even a single re-entry!
Main Event Champions (2002-2021)
The defending World Series of Poker champion is Germany's Koray Aldemir who won the 2021 World Series of Poker Main Event taking home $8,000,000 in prize money. He topped a field of 6,550 players to win after battling it out at the final table at the Rio All Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

2022 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Registration
The World Series of Poker is yet to confirm details on how players can enter events at the 2022 WSOP in Las Vegas. However, the registration process is expected to be similar to 2021, details of which can be found below. No locations in the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas have been confirmed to be the area for registration or entering events.
Online and in-person registration for all World Series events will open in the weeks prior to the first event. Players will be able to register 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Players will need to bring a valid photo ID and your Caesars Rewards Loyalty card in order to register.
International players are required to bring an additional form of identification that shows residential address, such as a signed Las Vegas lease agreement, a utility bill or a mobile phone bill.

2022 WSOP Online Registration
Players will once again be able to use Bravo Poker Live to register for World Series of Poker bracelet events online.
Players will need to validate their identity before being able to register online. They must also have an active and valid Caesars Rewards acount and Bravo Live account.
In 2021, players could then simply pick event(s) online via Bravo, utilizing the self-service kiosks located throughout the Rio Convention Center to print their seat cards, and go directly to their table.
It is unclear whether these kiosks will be available at the Horseshoe or Paris.
