More Momentum for Cates

Level 26 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

Yuri Dzivielevski raised it up on the button with the {k-Spades}{8-Spades}{5-Spades}{4-Hearts} and called a three-bet by Dan Cates in the big blind, who held the {a-Spades}{7-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}. Neither player invested any further chips on the {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} board and Cates won the pot.

Cates then raised the button with the {q-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{4-Spades}{3-Diamonds} and Dzivielevski came along with the {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}. Dzivielevski check-called the {9-Spades}{7-Spades}{5-Diamonds} flop and {7-Hearts} turn before the {7-Clubs} river was checked. Cates was somewhat surprised upon revelation of the cards as the pot was pushed to Dzivielevski.
