An Anonymous Bubble Player

Level 20 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Well, the bubble has burst, but not under ordinary circumstances.

A player lost a pot a few minutes ago and thought they were covered, so they left the room. But in truth, they had a few chips left.

The player's remaining chips were then used to pay for the Big Blind and was finally eliminated in the worst place of the tournament, without even playing the last hand.

The bubble player of this tournament is therefore anonymous.

No Bubble Burst Yet

Level 20 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

From the button, Ken O'Donnell opened to 40,000 and Peter Braglia called.

Braglia check-called a {7-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{8-Spades} flop for 25,000 and the same action occured on a {k-Spades} turn. Then on a {8-Hearts} river,Braglia jammed for almost 300,000 and O'Donnell snap called.

Peter Braglia: {6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}
Ken O'Donnell : {10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}

With trips eight on the river, O'Donnell did not hesitate a second before he called. Braglia missed the straight and was eliminated before the money.

One more hand is needed, as Braglia is not the bubble player.

Two From The Money

Level 20 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Four players busted during that first round of hand-for-hand.

Alexander Berditchevsky was one of them. He lost holding {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} for his last 200,000 to the {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} for Paul Watson.

Roberly Felicio was another player eliminated during that period. He lost with {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts} for his last 300,000 to the {a-Spades}{j-Clubs} for James Calderaro, who has now 1,300,000.

The organization announced that two more eliminations are needed before reaching the money.

Choupeaux Makes The Hero Call

Level 19 : 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Victor Choupeaux opened in early position to 40,000 and was called by the player in the cutoff.

On a {9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} flop, both players checked to the {3-Diamonds} turn. Choupeaux check-called a 40,000 bet to see the {6-Hearts} on the river.

Choupeaux checked, his opponent bet 160,000 and after reflection, he decided to make the call. Choupeaux called with {k-Spades}{q-Spades} for king-high and that was more than enough to dominate the {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} of his opponent.
