Friedman Doubles and Just Needs to Get to a Million

After dropping a pot to Scott Abrams that saw his stack shrink to just over 200,000, Adam Friedman got the last of it in preflop from his small blind against Mark Erickson on the button. With some extra dead money in the pot from William Slaght, who folded, Friedman stood to boost his stack to over 500,000 with a win.

"That'll do," said Friedman as the board came , giving Friedman a pair of tens on the river to get his double-up.

"You guys get me to a million, you all are gonna be dead," proclaimed the five-time bracelet winner as he dragged the pot, to give him some health to what's been a frustrating day so far.

After Men Nguyen raised to 60,000 under the gun, Rami Boukai moved his last 195,000 into the middle, which was called by Nguyen.

Boukai's low was quickly conterfeited on the flop, and the turn and river gave Nguyen a pair of queens for the high, as well as the low with his ace-five to eliminate the two-time bracelet winner and former MMA fighter, Boukai.

Neff Doubles Through Slaght

William Slaght raised to 65,000 in the hijack and was met by a three-bet from Peter Neff in the cutoff.

Slaght called to see the flop, then stuffed a stack of blue T-100,000 chips forward to put Neff all in. Neff called and was at risk.

Slaght's queens were ahead, but Neff was drawing very live to survival or a scoop with the only low draw and several high outs.

He hit the perfect card on the turn in the to give him a set, and the river cinched his scoop to double up to over a million.

Anthony Nguyen raised from his dwindling stack in the cutoff and was called in the big blind by William Slaght.

On the flop, Slaght check-called a bet from Nguyen, then called one more for the last of Nguyen's chips on the turn.

Nguyen had hit a set of fours on the turn, but trailed Slaght's flopped set of kings. The river gave Slaght the nut low just for good measure and Nguyen was ousted in the final hand before break.

The flop of allowed Krimerman to bet which was called by Chen. Krimerman bet the turn, Chen raised and Krimerman called which put him all in.

Krimerman had a set of aces Chen's only outs was to hit a queen on the river for a straight, which he did as the hit the river to eliminate Krimerman in the cruellest of fashion.
