Negreanu Suffers Another Unfortunate Beat

Level 15
Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

Pot-Limit Omaha 8 or Better

Joshua Levkov raised in early position and was called by Daniel Negreanu in the small blind and by the big blind.

On the {7-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} flop, action was checked to Levkov, who bet 15,000, leaving himself just 2,000 behind. Negreanu then raised to 30,000 and the big blind folded.

Levkov put in his last 2,000 and was at risk.

Joshua Levkov: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{k-Spades}{3-Spades}
Daniel Negreanu: {q-Spades}{j-Spades}{j-Hearts}{10-Clubs}

Negreanu was well ahead with his top set of jacks, however, not only did the low come in on the {5-Spades} turn to split the pot, the {9-Spades} on the river gave Levkov a flush to give him the entire pot.
