Zufic Gets it All From Aggressive Opponent

Level 7 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

A middle position player opened to 14,000 before Ivan Zufic immediately three-bet from the cutoff to 39,000. The opener made the call and went to the flop heads up.

{9-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{4-Clubs} hit the flop and action checked to Zufic who put out a bet of 25,000. His opponent check-raised to 75,000. After about 15 seconds, Zufic made the call.

The turn brought the {j-Spades}. Zufic's opponent then went all in for about 80,000 and Zufic quickly called.

Zufic: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Opponent: {8-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

The river {10-Spades} wasn't enough and Zufic took down the pot and eliminated his opponent.

"He check-raised that flop," said Dan Shak.

"And hit that turn, nothing he could do but go all-in there," smirked Sam Grafton.

"I mean, he didn't have any backdoor flush, he couldn't just call that flop," chuckled Shak. "He could have been drawing dead instead of picking up eight outs."

However it happened, all the chips went to Zufic who was happy to get them.
