Brooks Folds to Iman

Level 25 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

Peter Brooks raised to 105,000 in the cutoff and got called by Dan Iman in the big blind.

The dealer showed a flop of {7-Spades}{a-Spades}{10-Clubs} and after some thinking, Iman check-called Brooks' continuation bet for another 105,000. The {q-Spades} turn brought no betting action.

A {3-Spades} came on the river and Iman led out for 180,000. Brooks took a minute and ended up folding.

Rick Alvarado: {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Dan Iman: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}

Great Fold by Hammann; Still Eliminated

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

On a heads-up turn board of {2-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{j-Spades}{6-Spades}, Benjamin Hammann bet 100,000 but was then raised by his opponent, Jordan Russell, to 225,000.

Hammann called and the two players saw the {4-Diamonds} river. Russell then led out for 250,000, which covered Hammann, and sent him into the tank.

After a good while of looking quite distressed, he quickly pushed his cards into the muck and shook his head.

"How do you fold there, man?" Russell asked him as he showed him {6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} for a turned full house. Hammann looked very relieved as he realized he made the correct play.

Unfortunately, Hammann busted two hands later and exited the tournament.
