On the 4♥2♥3♣ flop, Ashton checked, Obst bet, and then Ashton check-raised which Obst called.

On the 4♦ turn, Ashton now bet and got raised by Obst. Ashton called and the players went to the river to see the A♥.

Ashton now check-called a bet from Obst and the players revealed their hands.

Obst showed A♦9♥6♥5♦ for a wheel, which would only get him the low as Ashton showed 7♠6♣3♦3♥ for a full house of threes full of fours.

Monnette Getting Short and Frustrated

Monnette checked following the 10♣7♠9♣ flop and then called after Alaei bet.

The 7♦ turn saw Monnette check for a second time. Alaei fired off another bet, this time forcing a fold from Monnette, who was left with around 160,000.

Monnette did manage to secure a double the very next hand courtesy of Alaei but his frustration was apparent during a profanity laced tirade directed towards the dealer.

After limps from Daniel Alaei under the gun, Marco Johnson in the hijack, and Phil Hellmuth in the small blind, John Monnette checked his big blind.

The quartet of stars saw a flop of 3♦10♦A♦ and action checked to Alaei who bet 25,000. Only Hellmuth called to see the K♠ on the turn.

Before the card was dealt though, Hellmuth checked dark and Alaei then checked back.

Hellmuth also checked the J♠ river, as did Alaei, with Hellmuth then showing Q♠3♠3♥2♥ for a flopped set of threes, which was good enough to earn a small but necessary pot.
