Mikhail Rudoy Gets an Early Double-Up

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Mikhail Rudoy raised to 28,000 from the hijack and was called by Griffin Malatino in the small blind and Sam Phillips in the big blind. The flop came {j-Hearts}{7-Spades}{6-Spades} and the action was checked to Rudoy who bet 45,000. Malatino raised to 125,000 and Phillips got out of the way. Rudoy pushed all in for 230,000 and Malatino took some time to think.

Eventually he called and tabled {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}, but was behind the {a-Hearts}{j-Spades} of Rudoy. The turn was the {4-Spades} and the river landed the {5-Hearts}, securing a double-up for Rudoy.
