1998 Champion Scotty Nguyen in the Field

Next year will mark 20 years since Scotty Nguyen took down the 1998 World Series of Poker Main Event, and Nguyen has picked up two cashes at this year's World Series of Poker.

In this hand, Nguyen opened to 1,200 from middle position, and the blinds called. The blinds both checked the flop to Nguyen, who bet 2,500 and got two folds.

Nguyen currently sits on 44,000, down from what he started with at the beginning of the day but still enough to be sitting comfortably.
