Ok, no club classics coming from his mouth, admittedly, but now that JP Kelly has arrived, TD extraordinaire Jack Effel has taken the mic to introduce the players, and urge railers not to throw anything at the final table.

We thus deduce that we are just minutes away from getting this baby underway.

Final Table Set, Requires Only Players

Hello and welcome back to the Empire Casino where nine happy hopefuls will shortly be battling it out to see who is crowned King of England -- or at least winner of Event #1.

Bags of chips are on the table and a variety of very excited railers, who have the look of Friends And Family about them rather than interested poker buffs, are beginning to fill the ringside seats. So far there is no sign of any of final tablers, though, so it looks as though we're not in for a massively punctual start.
