Wade Ramps Up The Aggression

Level 7 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Tristan Wade has retaken the lead in this match after winning consecutive pots from Michael Watson.

In the first hand Watson raised to 45,000 and then folded when Wade came over the top with a three-bet to 112,000.

The second hand saw Wade open with a button raise to 40,000, Watson three-bet to 105,000 but Wade was having none of it and he made the first four-bet of the evening, making it 244,000 to play. This was too much for Watson to pay and he mucked his hand.

Even-Stevens

Level 7 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Michael Watson claimed the next pot to even up the stacks. He called a 40,000 raise from Tristan Wade to see a {2-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{7-Hearts} flop. Both players checked to the {10-Clubs} turn where Watson check-raised Wade's 42,000 bet up to 125,000. Wade check-folded.

Advantage Wade

Level 7 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Michael Watson raised to 45,000 and Tristan Wade called. The flop came down {5-Spades}{5-Hearts}{3-Hearts}, Wade lead into Watson with a 44,000 bet and Watson called.

The turn brought the {3-Spades} into play and Wade continued with his story and bet 72,000 and again Watson called him down. The river was another low card, the {2-Clubs} and Wade bet again, increasing the size to 150,000. After around a minute of thinking time Watson folded and Wade takes the lead for the first time in this heads-up battle.

Flop Action

Level 7 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

We've only seen bet-calls or checked flops so far. That just changed but the hand still fizzled out.

Michael Watson raised to 45,000 and Tristan Wade called to see an all heart {6-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{k-Hearts} flop. Watson continued for 50,000 but was check-raised up to 122,000 by Wade. It looked as if the Canadian was planning something... fold.

Four for Watson

Level 7 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

There have been four hands played since the level began and Michael Watson has won all of them.

Both times he was on the button his button raises got through. When he was out-of-position in the big blind he three-bet both times to force Tristan Wade to fold.
