Michael Rocco limped from under the gun and Gab Yong Kim did the same in middle position. Chris Brewer called in the small blind, while Viktor Blom checked his big blind option.
The action checked to Kim on the Q♥10♦10♠ flop, who fired 30,000. Brewer and Blom folded before Rocco called.
Both players then checked the 9♠ turn to see the 5♣ river. Rocco led out for 230,000, producing a fold from Kim to take down an early pot.

Giuliano Bendinelli raised to 50,000 from the button and fresh entry Jens Lakemeier defended the big blind. The flop came down 8♦4♣2♥ and both players checked. Lakemeier checked again on the 2♠ turn and a 40,000 bet followed from Bedinelli.
Lakemeier then responded with a raise to 115,000 chips, and Bendinelli obliged with a call. The 7♣ river fell and quickly shoved all in, covering the 225,000 stack of Bedinelli.
Bendinelli went deep in the tank and spent several time bank extensions before laying his hand down. Lakemeier proudly showed K♣10♠ for a stone-cold bluff, which got some pleased reactions out of the other players at the table.

Viktor Blom, Leonard Maue, and Niklas Astedt had gotten all of their chips in preflop. Blom was the one with the shortest stack, while Maue played the starting stack of 500,000 and Astedt covered them both.
Viktor Blom: A♠K♠
Leonard Maue: A♦A♣
Niklas Astedt: K♥K♣
Astedt claimed he liked his chances, but the final king did not show itself on the 10♣2♥7♣3♦Q♠ runout. Maue's aces held without a sweat, and he tripled up while Blom headed for an early exit.
On another table, Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier was also eliminated.

Three-way action on a board showing 9♠6♣2♦K♥ saw two checks to Joakim Andersson on the button, who fired 80,000. Leonard Maue folded in the big blind while Jens Lakemeier called in middle position.
The J♣ river saw Maue check again, this time immediately laying down his hand when Andersson continued for 225,000 to take the pot.
At a nearby table, Sirzat Hissou could not topple the pocket Q♠Q♣ of Timothy Adams, hitting the rail early in the day.
