Asher Conniff

Asher Conniff is an American professional poker player hailing from New York. Conniff has a World Series of Poker (WSOP) Circuit ring, bracelet, and a World Poker Tour (WPT) Main Event title on his resume.

Conniff is a prolific poker tournament player with more than 200 live cashes dating back to 2009. Like many, Conniff cut his teeth playing low-to-mid-stakes tournaments in the United States, with the bulk of his early cashes coming from tournaments held in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

2015 was Conniff's breakout year. In April, he won a $560 buy-in side event at the WPT World Championship/Borgata Spring Poker Open for a then career-best $203,321. A fortnight later, he won the $15,000 WPT World Championship for $973,683, which remains his largest ever single prize.

Armed with a substantial bankroll and renewed confidence, Conniff began playing higher-stakes tournaments around the United States.

In 2017, the New Yorker finished second in the $1,675 WSOP Circuit Seminole Hard Rock for $159,357, narrowly missing out on a WSOPC ring. He captured a WSOPC ring in March 2019, taking down the $1,700 Main Eent at WSOPC Bally's Las Vegas, a result worth $193,147. Conniff cashed in eight WSOP events that summer, including a third-place finish in the $10,000 No-Limit Hold'em Super Turbo Bounty worth $145,097.

Conniff bubbled the final table of the 2022 WSOP Main Event, finishing in tenth place for $675,000. Conniff's opponent flopped quads to eliminate him.

At the 2024 WSOP in Las Vegas, Conniff triumphed in the opening event, the $5,000 Champions Reunion, helping himself to $408,468 in prize money, plus his first bracelet. That result pushed Conniff's lifetime earnings past $4.3 million
