    Thomas Olsen Eliminated

Thomas Olsen made it 4,500 to go preflop. Nicolas Atlan made the call and the flop was {K-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{5-Spades}. Olsen led out for 5,500 and Atlan responded by raising to 16,500. Olsen came over the top for an additional 110,000, a move that put him all-in. Atlan made the call and showed A-K while Olsen showed {A-Hearts}{J-Hearts}. Olsen missed his flush draw and was eliminated, much to the delight of Atlan, who began yelling and wooting. Olsen politely made his way to the over-excited Atlan and shook his hand before gathering his things and exiting the Amazon Room.

    Todd Phillips Up to 312K

Todd Phillips continues his rush. He busted another player when his 9-9 held up against a short stack who pushed with A-6.

On the very next hand, Phillips was all in against a short stack. They pushed with {J-Spades}{8-Clubs}. Phillips called with {J-Clubs}{7-Clubs}.

"I'm pretty sure I'll be doubling you up," Phillips told his opponent.

The flop was {K-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}. The turn was the {A-Spades}. Phillips picked up more outs for a tie. The river was the {K-Hearts}. Phillips ended up chopping the pot.

Phillips is currently at 312,000 after that pot.

An Efficient Operation Today For Harrah's

It's so easy to point out the problems and criticisms for a 6,000+ player event. But today's action has been extremely quick, and Harrah's tournament staff has been very efficiently handling the table breaks, well prepared with plenty of chip racks.

During the last break, some of the top staff were going over some preparations for Thursday, when the money bubble will burst. They will be rerouting some of the access ways to make sure that players have a clear, unobstructed path to the payout room.

@espn_poker I don't think they've converted t-chips to dollars. Maybe to dollars divided by three, in some sense.

I have to admit, as a huge fan of E!'s 'The Soup', seeing Joel McHale poke fun at Maria and I was quite an honor! http://bit.ly/31JRCF
