Seat 8: Frank Gary - 332,000
Seat 9: David Sorger - 130,000

Mats Gavatin will go into the final table tomorrow as our chip leader, boasting 405,000 chips. Nick Binger and Frank Gary are not far behind.

Play will commence tomorrow at 3 PM local time and we will see you all then.

Todd Witteles Eliminated in 10th Place ($12,473)

Todd Witteles - 10th Place
Todd Witteles - 10th Place
Limit Hold'em:

Opening the action from late position, Michael Chu started things with a raise. Todd Witteles called from the big blind.

The flop brought {5-Clubs} {10-Spades} {J-Hearts}. Witteles checked, and Chu continued out with a bet. Witteles check-raised, adding the extra bet and putting himself all in and at risk of elimination. Chu quickly called, and the hands were shown down:

Witteles: {9-Clubs} {10-Clubs}
Chu: {Q-Hearts} {Q-Diamonds}

The {Q-Spades} on the turn actually gave Witteles a few extra outs, but the river {7-Hearts} was a blank, and "Dan Druff" gathered his things and headed to the rail in 10th Place.

That elimination signals the end of play for the day, as our final table is set, ready to return fresh tomorrow.

Justin St. John - 11th Place
No-Limit Hold'em:

From the cutoff, David Sorger came in raising. Justin St. John was seated in the small blind with a short stack, and he moved all in for approximately 70,000. Sorger made the call.

St. John: {Q-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds}
Sorger: {A-Spades} {7-Diamonds}

The flop hit St. John, coming {J-Clubs} {2-Diamonds} {8-Spades}. Sorger was well behind, and the {K-Hearts} on the turn was no help. He managed to re-draw out though with just one card to come. One of the three remaining winners, the {A-Hearts} hit the river, and Sorger erupted in joy. His hit on the river knocks Justin St. John out in 11th place.

No Jalali-gagging Around

No Limit Hold'em:

Alex Jalali moved all in for 56,500 from late position and Jonathan Tamayo called.

Jalali: {A-Clubs} {Q-Diamonds}
Tamayo: {10-Spades} {10-Diamonds}

The board ran out {A-Hearts} {5-Diamonds} {4-Spades} {6-Hearts} {K-Clubs} and Jalali was able to double up to 123,000.

Sam Hiatt Eliminated in 12th Place ($12,473)

No-Limit Hold'em:

Chris Rentes was at it again. This time he raised from the cutoff to 16,000. Sam Hiatt reraised from the button to 48,500 and was all in. Rentes made the call with {A-Hearts} {7-Clubs}. Hiatt showed {J-Clubs} {J-Spades}.

The flop was not what Hiatt wanted to see, not one, but two aces... {A-Spades} {A-Clubs} {10-Clubs}. The turn came the {8-Spades} and the river the {6-Hearts}. One of the two remaining jacks didn't fall and Hiatt was shipped out in 12th place.

Elliot Smith Eliminated in 13th Place ($9,978)

Rentes: {A-Clubs} {6-Hearts}

The turn and river came the {4-Clubs} then the {5-Hearts} to send Smith to the rail in 13th place.
