I have been quite a fan of Pacific Poker for a while now. There always seems a good number of soft cash game players, that even during my first few months, I could pull apart without any problems.
The last big tournament I played here was the $1,000,000 guaranteed a few months back. The tournament lobby paused for a while and it was difficult to judge exactly where you were in relation to other players in the chip count. Apart from that I was impressed and hoped it would spark off a flurry of big prize tourneys (one or two have cropped up since)
Pacific wouldn't be the first site I'd recommend players to join. Yes, it has a few good features and the cash games are still as juicy as they've always been. But these days, things are looking a little dated. There are smoother softwares, nicer looking softwares and easier bonus programs. On the whole it's lacking the "X factor" (whatever that is!) making it an average poker room.
