Shuffle Up and Deal

The cards are in the air as Day 2 kicks off for the PokerStars.net APPT Auckland Main Event! Some of the players have still yet to show up for the beginning of the day, including the chip leader Amant Nauhria.

A few notes; play will be nine handed until we reach the final eight tables, at which point we will play eight handed. Six levels will be played before dinner and roughly nine levels total will be played today. The tournament director said that may change though, and we'll surely keep you posted.

Almost Time

We are just about a half hour away from the start of Day 2 action here in Auckland. The tournament staff is hard at work preparing the room for play, including the addition of a small section of bleachers for the spectators. A few of them have already started filing into the tournament area, locking up the seats with the best view of the floor.

We expect to be underway right on time at 12:15pm local time, so sit tight, and join us shortly for another action-packed day of poker here at the PokerStars.net APPT Auckland!
