Sixteen of the remaining twenty-four players will make the money.
James Suen opened with a raise to 5,000 from the cutoff, before David Saab bumped it up to 12,000 from the small blind. Suen quickly moved all in and Saab insta-called.

"You were making a move on me!?!?" exclaimed Saab, amongst a constant barrage of shouting as the board was dealt out .
Suen claimed a straight, celebrated with his entourage and amongst the confusion, yelling and excitement it seemed that he nearly had the pot pushed towards him. However eventually everyone settled down, Saab raked in the chips and Suen was sent to the rail.

Just a few hands later, Carron and Vujevic were at it again. The chips were all in preflop, with Carron's in good shape against Vujevic's . The board did not cooperate, however, and Carron was sent to an early dinner. He is out.
A short-stacked Kwok Yeung has found a much needed double up. When the action folded to him on the button Yeung pushed all in for his last 7,100 and Diwei Huang spread the pot, did some maths and made the call from the big blind.
Another hand, another flip. Lily Bui open-raised all in for about 20,000 and was called by Masayuki Nagata. Nagata had the better hand with , but was up against two overcards -- . The dealer took excruciating seconds to spread the flop, revealing a pair of jacks for Bui. They held up on the turn and river. Nagata was crestfallen, but retains 50,000 in chips.
