Jeney Can't Stand River Raise

Level 1 : 50/100, 0 ante

From early position, Kristina Jeney raised to 225. Tom Rafferty in middle position called and then Jonas Kronwitter reraised to 900 from late position. Jeney and Rafferty both made the call to see the flop come down {10-Hearts}{8-Spades}{3-Spades}.

On the flop, all three players checked and the {10-Clubs} paired the board on the turn. Jeney led with a bet of 725. Rafferty called and Kronwitter folded. We're unsure if Kronwitter accidentally exposed his hand or if he just thought play was only heads up, but the {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades} was revealed from his hand when he folded.

The river completed the board with the {4-Spades} and Jeney fired 1,125. Rafferty raised to 4,500. Jeney mucked and dropped back to 26,000 in chips. Rafferty moved to about 35,000.

Zheng Adds Some More

Level 2 : 100/200, 0 ante

From the cutoff, a player raised to 250. Jackson Zheng reraised to 800 from the button and the player made the call.

The flop came down {7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} and both players checked to see the {A-Clubs} on the turn. The cutoff fired 1,100. Zheng raised to 3,600 and his opponent mucked. Zheng has about 58,000 chips as play moves into the second level.

Just Wingin' It

Level 2 : 100/200, 0 ante

The player under the gun raised to 450 and the next player reraised to 1,100. Tom Wing was on the button and flatted the three-bet. The original raiser also called.

The three players took the flop of {J-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{6-Clubs}. The first player checked and the next player fired 2,500. Wing made the call and the original preflop raiser folded.

The turn added the {8-Diamonds} to the board and action checked to Wing. He fired 6,500 and was called.

The {7-Diamonds} completed the board on the river and the first player checked. Wing fired 18,000 and his opponent made the call.

Wing showed the {J-Spades}{10-Spades} for top pair on the flop that turned into a straight on the river. His opponent held the {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs} for a set of eights. Wing won the pot and pushed his stack to 55,000 in chips.

Lum Chips Up With Quads

Level 2 : 100/200, 0 ante

The third "all in and call!" echoed through the room with a flop of {4-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} spread.

Damon Lum was in fantastic shape holding {4-Spades}{4-Clubs} against his opponent's {Q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}.

The {A-Clubs} on the turn changed little apart from seeing Lum needing to fade seven cards left in the deck.

Just like fellow New Zealander Jackson Zheng did in an earlier hand, Lum managed to spike quads on the river when the dealer dropped the {4-Diamonds} to see Lum climb to 48,000 while eliminating his opponent.

Aces for Saab

Level 2 : 100/200, 0 ante

On a flop of {3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}, David Saab fired out a bet of 3,800 from the cutoff.

His lone opponent in the hand, bumped it up to 10,000 from the cutoff with Saab smooth-calling to see the {Q-Hearts} land on the turn.

Saab took the lead once again firing out a bet of 8,000 only to have his opponent ship it all in for 19,600. Saab made the call as the cards were placed on their back.

Saab: {A-Clubs}{A-Spades}
Opponennt: {K-}{K-}

Fortunately for Saab, the river landed the {10-Diamonds} to ensure he eliminated his opponent while soaring to 60,000 in chips.

Seet Open!

Level 2 : 100/200, 0 ante
Nathaniel Seet bites the dust
Nathaniel Seet bites the dust

We're going to have to do with just bits and pieces of the information for this one, but the one action we are for certain of is Nathaniel Seet exiting the tournament. He was eliminated by Kristina Jeney.

Jeney checked dark and Seet bet in the dark before the flop came {K-}{10-}{8-}. Jeney called and a {9-} came on the turn. That's where the money went in with Jeney holding a turned set of nines. Seet held pocket aces. The river completed the board with another nine to give Jeney quads. Seet was eliminated while Jeney went up to over 50,000 in chips.

Spets Slips

Level 2 : 100/200, 0 ante
Roger Spets
Roger Spets

Roger Spets opened to 525 from middle position and was called in two spots from players in the hijack and from the big blind.

Spets fired out a continuation bet of 1,200 on the {K-Spades}{J-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} flop with the player in the hijack making the call as the big blind kicked his cards to the muck.

When the dealer dropped the {6-Hearts} on the turn, Spets tapped the table as his opponent quickly splashed the pot with a bet of 3,500.

Spending nearly three minutes deliberating over a decision, Spets eventually made the call before both players checked the {6-Spades} on the river.

Unfortunately for Spets, his opponent's {Q-Spades}{j-Spades} wouldn't be what he was hoping to see as he quickly tossed his cards into the muck while slipping to 26,500 in chips.

Ivin Eliminated, Bibby Booms

Level 2 : 100/200, 0 ante
Mike Ivin
Mike Ivin

On he flop of {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}{7-Clubs}, two players checked before Ricky "rickwaa" Kroesen checked. Mike Ivin bet 1,200 from the cutoff and after the player on the button made the call, Brent Bibby raised to 3,150 from the small blind. The first two players and Kroesen folded, but Ivin made the call. The button folded.

The turn brought the {7-Diamonds} and Bibby moved all in. Ivin made the call with the {A-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}. He was up against the {Q-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} for Bibby.

Needing an ace on the river, the {10-Diamonds} didn't do it for Ivin and he was sent to the rail. Bibby won the pot and boomed his way to 55,000 in chips.
