Bourke Busts Kanaan

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 400 ante

Craig Bourke just sent Anthony Kanaan to the rail and here's how it went down.

Bourke raised to 10,000 preflop and Kanaan called. The flop came down {J-Spades}{J-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} and Bourke bet 17,000. Kanaan made the call to see the {7-Clubs} come on the turn. Bourke checked and Kanaan moved all in. Bourke made the call with the {K-Diamonds}{K-Spades}. Kanaan held the {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}.

The river was the {10-Clubs} and Kanaan couldn't find the nine he needed. He was eliminated while Bourke moved to 270,000 in chips.

Another Double for Sabat

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 400 ante

Eddy Sabat moved all in from the button for 41,900 and Benjamin McLean tanked from the big blind. Tom Rafferty called the clock on McLean after he was in the tank for a bit. When McLean heard the clock called on him he said, "Just because of that," and pushed the chips to call over the betting line.

"I didn't call the clock on you," said Sabat. He in fact didn't, it was Rafferty. Either way, spite call or not, McLean made the call and the hands were turned over.

Sabat: {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}
McLean: {Q-Spades}{J-Hearts}

The board ran out {K-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds} and Sabat doubled up.

Negreanu Moves Over 300k

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 400 ante

Both Peco Stojanovski and Daniel Negreanu put 20,000 chips in on the flop of {6-Spades}{6-Clubs}{5-Hearts} before the turn came the {2-Spades}. Stojanovski fired 25,000 and Negreanu raised to 60,000. Stojanovski thought for a bit and then made the call.

The river completed the board with the {4-Clubs} and Stojanovski checked. Negreanu checked behind, citing that Stojanovski's speech was the reason he was shutting down. Stojanovski tabled two tens, but lost to the {8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for Negreanu.

Negreanu moved to 310,000 while Stojanovski dropped back to 181,000.
