Sparrow Cheung Eliminated in 15th Place (HKD 124,400)

From under the gun plus one, Sparrow Cheung raised all in for around 260,000. Action folded to Jeff Rossiter on the button and he reraised all in. Both blinds folded the leave Cheung up against Rossiter for his tournament life.

Cheung: {6-Hearts}{6-Spades}
Rossiter: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}

The flop came down {7-Spades}{4-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and Cheung whiffed on the first three cards. The turn {2-Hearts} and river {8-Clubs} also proved to be no help for him and he was eliminated in 15th place.

Josh Barrett Eliminated in 14th Place (HKD 124,400)

When the action was folded to Josh Barrett in the small blind position he shoved all in and received a call from Fabian Spiedelmann in the big blind.

Barrett: {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
Spiedelmann: {a-Clubs}{3-Clubs}

The {7-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} flop was not a good one for Barrett, giving Spiedelmann a lot of outs. The {a-Diamonds} on the turn was devastating to Barrett and when no miracle jack came on the river, it was all over for the young Aussie player.

Tsugunari Toma Eliminated in 13th Place (HKD 124,400)

Tsugunari Toma - 13th Place
Tsugunari Toma - 13th Place

Tsugunari Toma was somewhat short stacked when he shoved all in from under the gun. A couple of positions to his left was Kai Yat Fam and he made the call before a flurry of cards were sent into the muck from all around the table.

Yat Fam tabled his {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} and was well ahead of the {k-Hearts}{6-Hearts} which Toma held. When the board ran out {5-Clubs}{j-Spades}{a-Spades}{8-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}, it was all over for Toma as we are down to 12 here in Macau.

The action was folded to Kai Yat Fam in the small blind and he raised it up to 100,000. Fabian Spiedelmann was in the big blind and he popped it 160,000. Fam then made it 240,000 and Spiedelmann let it go.

Steicke's Kicker is Better

Zheng Tai Tan raised to 87,000 and David Steicke called in position. Everyone else folded and the flop came down {Q-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{6-Clubs}. Tan took a minute and then bet 57,000. Steicke tanked for a little, then tossed in two blue T1,000 chips to signify that he was making the call.

After the rest of the call amount was put in, the dealer dealt the {A-Hearts} on the turn. Tan took some more time before sliding out a bet of 155,000. Steicke paused for a few moments, then flung a single yellow T5,000 chips into the middle to signify a call on this round.

The dealer placed the {6-Hearts} on the river. Tan flung out just one chip this time, a red T25,000 one. Steicke made the call. With the big blind being 40,000, Tan's river bet was ruled to be the minimum of 40,000. He showed the {A-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}, but his seven kicker wasn't good against the {A-Spades}{9-Spades} for Steicke.
