The action was folded to Zheng Tai Tan on the dealer button and he raised it up to 105,000. The small blind got out of the way and the action was on David Steicke in the big blind. After thinking for some time and looking towards his opponent's stack, Steicke announced he was all in. Tai Tan snap called.
Steicke:
Tai Tan:
Steicke was in front for now but when the board ran out , it was a big dent to Steicke's stack and a nice chip up for Tai Tan.
The action was folded to Sangeeth Mohan on the button and he opened it to 110,000. Kai Yat Fam was in the small blind and he three-bet 170,000 more. Mohan then four-bet another 330,000 and a huge pot was building.
Flop:
Yat Fam checked and this is when Mohan shoved his stack all in. Yat Fam quickly made the call and turned over his for a massive royal flush draw, while Mohan held for a set of queens.
The turn housed the and when the river didn't pair up the board, it was all over for Mohan as he exits the building in 10th place. Yat Fam now has a staggering chip stack of more than 4 million and with that, we have our final table here at the 2011 APPT Macau Main Event!
A massive hand has just played at the final table and it only took a short while for it to happen. Just as quickly as Kai Yat Fam gathered his monster chip-stack, he has let a large portion of those chips go, as Fabian Spiedelmann becomes the dominant chipleader.
Spiedelmann opened the pot from the hijack and Zou Wang called before Fam raised it another 250,000 in the small blind. At this point Spiedelmann re-raised another 320,000 and Wang got out of the way. This is when Fam moved all in. Spiedelmann didn't need much time to think as he snapped the bet off and tabled .
Fam would need some help if he was going to take it down holding and when the board birkced out it was help which would never come as Fam took the huge dent to his stack. We have new chipleader!
