Chan Changing Tables

Johnny Chan has just joined the stacked table from the start of the day which still features the likes of Vivian Im, Nacho Barbera, Yasuhiro Waki, Kelly Flynn, Jeff Rossiter and Joe Ebanks.

Chan won't be able to complain about the move though, after he managed to double-up on one of the first hands after his arrival.

Chan got his stack all-in when he hit a full house with {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} on a {7-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{q-Spades} flop. He took down the big hand to move to a healthy 65,000 in chips.

Wang Working Away

Jacky Wang has been sitting behind a healthy stack for most of the day and continues to be in very good shape as we caught a recent hand where Wang picked up some chips.

Wang opened the hand with a small raise and received just one caller as the {7-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{9-Spades} flop landed on the felt. Wang checked to his opponent who threw out 1,850. The action was back on Wang and he decided to go for the check raise, making it 5,075 to go.

After a few moments, Wang's opponent got rid of his hand and sent the pot to Wang.

Chatty Sabaty

We came to the action on Eddy Sabat's table with a board showing {7-Clubs}{k-Spades}{10-Hearts} and one opponent checking the play to Sabat, who fired out a small bet.

A call from Sabat's opponent would see the {3-Hearts} hit the turn and Sabat's opponent would again check. This time Sabat bet 2,000 and again his opponent made the call.

The {6-Clubs} on the river would prompt another check and Sabat would think for a few moments before again betting, this time 4,600. After a few moments Sabat's opponent moved all in for around 9,000. Sabat looked pained as he began to talk to his opponent while contemplating the call.

"I made a mistake here, i should have checked behind," said Sabat as he continued to contemplate the call.

"You're not bluffing right?", asked Sabat, "If i show you my hand, will you show me yours?"

"Ah, this is sick, i'm pretty much folding the nuts," said Sabat as he quickly flashed a {k-Clubs} and sent his cards into the muck.

Torres Climbing

Last year's champion Victorino Torres is doing very well here on Day 1b of the 2011 PokerStars.net APPT Macau Main Event in his title-defense run. He's more than tripled his starting stack and was recently seen picking up the following pot.

With the board reading {K-Spades}{6-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{K-Clubs}, Torres checked and his opponent checked behind. The river was the {8-Clubs} and Torres checked again. His opponent bet 2,500. Torres made the call.

After his opponent showed the {Q-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} for just queen high, Torres tabled the {A-Clubs}{6-Spades} for two pair, kings and sixes, and won the pot.
