Sangeeth Mohan - Final day chipleader.

It's all over on Day 3 here at the PokerStars.net APPT Macau Main Event and what an eventful day it was. What started as 96 players has slowly been whittled down to just 15, as two tables of players will return tomorrow to take their shot at Asia Pacific Poker Tour glory!

Coming into Day 3 it was Nathaniel Seet who who had the most chips, holding a staggering lead over Dan Park who was second in chips. In the end Park managed to finish 28th place, while Seet was knocked out in 38th place.

Seet and Park may have been lucky enough to finish in the money, but it wasn't the same story for Team PokerStars Pro Nacho Barbero. The demise of Barbero came after several hands of brutality which left him with only 5,000 in chips. Barbero's last chips were sent into the middle holding {K-Hearts}{6-Spades} against an opponent's {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}. No help came for Barbero and he was sent to the rail.

Some prominent players who did manage to make the money were Julian Powell (69th), Andrew Scott (61st), Johnny Chan (60th), Terrence Chan (56th) and Grant Levy (25th).

Of course, what everyone wants to know is who is still in contention for the title. It will be Sangeeth Mohan who will return tomorrow with the chip lead, bagging up a huge 2,425,000. Mohan is on a bit of hot streak at the moment, having taken down an Asian Poker Tour event in Goa, India just a few weeks ago. See below for a final day table draw.
