Trip Sevens for Hinrichsen

From middle position, Andrew Hinrichsen raised to 10,500. Xing Zhou called from the big blind, and the flop came down {7-Hearts}{7-Spades}{4-Clubs}. Zhou checked, and Hinrichsen tossed out 10,500. Zhou made the call.

The {K-Spades} landed on fourth street, and Zhou checked again. After Hinrichsen fired 22,000, Zhou called.

The river completed the board with the {9-Hearts}, and Zhou checked. Hinrichsen bet 47,500, and Zhou called.

Hinrichsen tabled the {7-Clubs}{6-Clubs} for trip sevens, and Zhou mucked.

Lin Gets Away With Mistake

Andrew Hinrichsen raised to 10,500 from under the gun +1 to kick things off. The action was folded around to Ping Lin on the button, and he tried raising to 11,000. The dealer pointed out that the raise was 10,500, and Lin immediately seemed to realize that he had made a mistake. With just 42,000 chips behind this could turn into a costly mistake. Aaron Lim called from the big blind, and three players saw the flop.

The flop brought out {A-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{10-Hearts} and both Lim and Hinrichsen checked. Lin moved all in from the button and both his opponents folded. Lin picked up an important pot for his stack, but he remains as one of the short stacks.

Huynh Calls Alner Down

Tom Alner raised to 10,500 preflop and Tri Huynh called. One more player called, and the flop brought out {2-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}. Alner fired out 22,500 and only Huynh made the call.

On the turn the {K-Diamonds} showed up, and Alner threw out 40,500. Huynh went into the tank for quite some time, but eventually he decided to call.

The river brought the {7-Spades} and this time both players checked. Huynh showed {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs} and took this pot down.

From under the gun, Ying Kit Chan limped in, then Henry Wang limped in from the next seat. After that, Team PokerStars Pro Raymond Wu raised to 17,000 and play folded back to Chan. He folded, then Wang called.

The flop came down {K-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}, and both players checked to see the {9-Diamonds} land on the turn. Wang checked, and Wu fired 20,000. Wang gave it up, and Wu won the pot.

Level 17 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Tri Huynh check-called a bet of 20,000 from Andrew Gaw on the {J-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} flop before seeing the {J-Diamonds} pair the board on the turn. Here, both players checked, and the dealer placed the {A-Spades} out on fifth street. Huynh checked, and Gaw bet 25,000. Huynh called.

Gaw showed the {K-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds} for king-queen high. Huynh had two pair with his {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}, and he won the pot.

Three-Bet from Toma

The start of the day was very exciting, but things have cooled off very much since. There's hasn't been much action lately, and the players seem to have settled into their roles and are looking for that final table berth.

On this hand, Team PokerStars Pro Raymond Wu raised to 12,000 from middle position, and Gary Lam made the call on the button. Tsugunari Toma reraised to 44,000 from the big blind, and both Wu and Lam folded.

Zhongwei Wang Eliminated in 18th Place (HKD$216,000)

Zhongwei Wang was just very unlucky against Andrew Hinrichsen who shattered his dreams by hitting the {6-Hearts} on the turn. We caught the action on the {K-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} when Hinrichsen moved all in. Wang had 20,000 chips out in front of him, and he quickly made the call.

Andrew Hinrichsen: {8-Clubs}{6-Clubs}
Zhongwei Wang: {K-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}

Hinrichsen was looking for runner-runner straight cards, or one of the two remaining sixes. The {6-Hearts} on the turn was one of those, and now Hinrichsen was looking to dodge a diamond. The {3-Clubs} popped up on the river, and Wang looked devastated as the stacks were counted down. Wang had 160,000 and was covered by Hinrichsen's 182,000-chip stack. Just 17 players remain.
