Crocky Busts as Waggoner Triples Up

Billy "The Croc" Argyros Eliminated
Billy "The Croc" Argyros Eliminated
Billy "The Croc" Argyros has been eliminated after committing his last chips on a flop of {4-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} against both Trung Tran and Marsha Waggoner.

Argyros: {4-Clubs}{3-Spades}{2-Hearts}{9-Spades}
Waggoner: {6-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{5-Clubs}
Tran: {4-Hearts}{4-Spades}{A-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}

Argyros held two pair against Waggoner's overpair, straight and flush draws, while Tran was out in front with his set of fours.

The turn was the {7-Diamonds}, completing Waggoner's flush and the {Q-Clubs} completed the board on the river. Croc is busted as Waggoner triples up to over 10,000.

Tran Doubles Up Opponent

With two limpers in the pot, JC Tran raised to 1,000 from the big blind. Both the player under-the-gun and Nam Le made the call.

The flop was {9-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{J-Spades}, and Tran led out for 1,500 before the UTG player moved all in for 2,000. Le folded and Tran made the call.

Tran: {K-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}
Opponent: {8-Spades}{8-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{9-Spades}

Tran held the lead with his queens and nothing changed when the {2-Diamonds} hit the turn. But the {A-Hearts} on the river gave his opponent two pair and the double up. Tran is back to 17,000.

Eight Tables Remain

We don't have a screen for this side event, but we are down to our final eight tables which puts us at around 80 players remaining. Timothy Depater is out in front with about 35,000 chips.

Marcus Outflopped

Van Marcus called a 1,000 chip bet on the flop before the turn and river were checked down on a board of {8-Spades}{9-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{A-Spades}{Q-Hearts}.

Marcus flashed a pair of tens in the hole for a set, but his opponent revealed {6-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} for the flopped straight.

Marcus is back to 13,000 chips.

Kassis Eliminated

Mark Kassis Eliminated
Mark Kassis Eliminated
Mark Kassis was short stacked and all in preflop with {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{6-Clubs}, but when the board ran out {9-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} he found his opponent showing down the best hand with {K-Hearts}{K-Spades}{2-Spades}{5-Hearts} for trips.

Kassis was the winner of the Rebuys event earlier in the series, but was unable to replicate that success as he was sent to the rail.

Sach Accumulating

Jim Sachinidis is up to a respectable 14,000 chips after eliminating an opponent in a recent hand on a board of {A-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{A-Spades}{4-Diamonds}.

"Sach" tabled {6-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{A-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} for a full house, aces full of sixes, while his opponent showed down {10-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{8-Spades}{8-Diamonds} for eights full of aces.
