Field Slips

Josh "JJProdigy" Field has taken a couple of recent hits. In the first hand Field made the call when his opponent shoved the river on a board of {A-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{J-Hearts}{4-Clubs}, but mucked when showed {A-Diamonds}{j-Spades}.

He followed this with with a call of 1,300 on the river on a board of {10-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{6-Diamonds} but couldn't better his opponent's {5-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for two pair.

Field is down to 6,700 in chips.

Sach Makes Good Call

Jim Sachinidis has taken down a big pot prior to the break to send an opponent to the rail. Catching the action on the turn on a board of {q-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} the player in the big blind moved all in to send Sachinidis into the tank.

He eventually found a call with {A-Diamonds}{Q-Spades} for top pair, top kicker which was good as his opponent revealed {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}.

The river bricked the {6-Spades} as Sachinidis stacks up 24,000 chips.

Colman Takes a Hit

The action folded around to Julius Colman who raised to 450; he found a caller in late position and they checked a flop of {k-Clubs}{j-Spades}{9-Diamonds}.

Colman then led out for 600 on the turn of the {k-Spades}, the opponent called and they both checked the river {8-Hearts}.

Colman rolled up {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts} but his opponent had him beat with {4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} for two pair. Colman shrunk to 6,950 after that hand.

Some Action in the Outback

Martin Comer, Andrew Hinrichsen, an opponent in the small blind and John Course (in the big blind) were involved in a three-way pot way out in the satellite area with the flop reading {k-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{J-Hearts}.

The small blind checked to Course to led out for 400. Comer called from the cutoff but Hinrichsen raised to 1,400 from the button.

The small blind folded before Course and Comer called, then all three players checked the turn of the {9-Hearts} and the river {7-Hearts}.

The dealer asked Hinrichsen to reveal his cards but he mucked them straight way. Course showed {k-?}{j-?} for two pair and Comer let his hand go.

Course is up to 17,000, Comer is down to 14,300 and Hinrichsen shrinks to 6,200.

Sclavos Picks One Off

In an all in preflop hand, Eric Sclavos made the field a little lighter when he busted Kristian Lunardi.

Sclavos: {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}
Lunardi: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}

Board: {A-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}

Sclavos moved up to 24,000 in chips.
