Gus Gutted.
Gus Hansen raised to 25,000 from UTG and Barry Greenstein made the call from the button. Jonathan Karamalikis reraised to 85,000 from the small blind. Hansen called and Greenstein folded.

The flop came out {A-Hearts} {8-Spades} {5-Spades}, Karamalikis bet 50,000 and Hansen made it 100,000 to which the Aussie youngster moved all-in for 261,000 total.

Hansen tanked, using both his extra 30 second timeouts. With a few seconds left, Hansen made the call with {A-?} {9-?} behind to Karamalikis' {A-?} {Q-?}. The turn {K-Diamonds} offered Hansen some possible split outs but the river {7-Spades} gave the pot to the Australian, eliminating the Dane from the tournament.

The G Warms The Saddle Up

Tony G raised to 23,000 from UTG+1 and Howard Lederer called in the small blind.

Both players checked the {Q-Spades} {4-Spades} {10-Spades} flop before Lederer bet out 35,000 on the {7-Hearts} turn. The river was the {2-Spades} and Lederer bet 60,000 but Tony G moved all-in saying, "Take it all, the bike is getting warm."

Lederer folded and the G continued to chat...

"Can you ride a bike?" to which Lederer offered no response.

Tony G carried on, "I rate myself a creative player...2nd round of drinks for the rail."

The crowd cheered and G smiled saying, "I'm always chirpy when I win a pot."
