Wiedenhoeft Still On Top

Minh Trinh raised from late position to 7,500. Chad Wiedenhoeft reraised from the small blind to 23,500. Trinh mucked his hand and Wiedenhoeft scooped in the pot. Wiedenhoeft moved up to 600,000 chips after gathering in this pot and is still leading the way over the rest of the field.

Birds on the Rail

There are quite a bit of spectators lining up by the PokerNews desk to watch the action tonight. So much so that our reporters are having to dodge in and out of the crowd to get back to the desk.

The poker room here at the Crown is buzzing with spectators, players, and the riffling of chips.

Bring Out the Chocolate

Up in Studio 3, the floor staff has spent the last few minutes adding several oversized brown (T25,000) chips into play, in order to help speed play along.

The brown chips are about two millimeters longer in diameter than the rest of the chips on the table and thus, way more intimidating.

Rock'em Sock'em Robots

Socko Bartosz has just doubled up through Nico Behling to improve to 264,000 in chips.

The two got it all in on a flop of {J-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{A-Clubs}; Behling with {A-Spades}{Q-Spades} and Bartosz with a set of nines.

The turn and river bricked out inconsequentially and Bartosz's set held up to win the pot. Behling was left with a still-healthy 268,000 in chips following the loss.

Shak Attack

Preflop from under the gun with {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}, Dan Shak made it 9,000 to go before the big blind answered him by moving all in. Shak made the call and saw he was well ahead of his opponent's {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}.

The board fell {9-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} and Shak moved up to 375,000 and his opponent moved out the door.

Tim Marsters Eliminated

Kosta Varoxis raised it up preflop to 7,000 and Tim Marsters moved all in for 60,000, and Varoxis made the call.

Varoxis: {A-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
Marsters: {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts}

The board was kind to Kosta Varoxis rolling out {8-Spades}{q-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} giving him a turned straight and Tim Marsters is officially busto.

Kosta Varoxis on the other hand is up to 270,000.

Toothpick Swallowed

Antonis 'Toothpick Tony' Kambouroglou has just played his final hand of the 2010 Aussie Millions main event.

Kambouroglou, short-stacked, got it all in before the flop holding pocket tens against an opponent's pocket jacks.

The board then ran out {6-Hearts}{5-Spades}{6-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{A-Clubs} and the jacks held up to send Kambouroglou to the rail.

Delaney Busts A Short Stack

Ever the feisty one Ben Delaney called an opponents 22,000 all in shove with {5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}. His opponent was ahead with {a-Clubs}{q-Spades} but wouldsoon find the door as the board ran out {3-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{9-Spades}{k-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} busting Senor Short Stack, and building Ben Delaney's stack up to 147,000
