Lew Closes in on 100k

Level 6 : 300/600, 75 ante

On a board of {J-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}, Fabian Quoss checked over to Randy Lew who opted to fire out a bet of 9,400.

Quoss made the call as the {4-Hearts} rolled off on the river and Quoss again checked as Lew pushed out 15,400.

Deliberating for a few moments, Quoss made the call only to muck at the sight of Lew's {J-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}.

As Quoss slips to 18,500, Lew soars to roughly 93,000 in chips.

Keys Crushed in Five-Bet Pot

Level 6 : 300/600, 75 ante
James Keys
James Keys

With a raise from the lo-jack to 1,300, James Keys responded with a three-bet to 3,200 from the cutoff.

As the blinds passed and the action returned to the original aggressor, he made it 7,100 to go only to have Keys respond with a five-bet amounting to his whole stack - all 29,225 of it.

His opponent ummed and ahhed for nearly two minutes before making the call for his 24,125 as we were off to the races!

Keys: {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}
Opponent: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}

The board up until the river was a good one for Keys as it read {3-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{9-Clubs}, but like so many players fate is determined, the river saw Keys cut down when it landed the {Q-Clubs} rocketing his opponent to roughly 50,000.

As for Keys - who already has a final table at this years Aussie Millions - he is now down to just 5,100 in chips.
