Break Time

Level 4 : 2,000/4,000, 300 ante

The remaining five players are heading on a quick five-minute break.

As the table broke, Patrik Antonius asked if he could play Chinese Poker.

He didn't have any takers.

Sevens Double for Oppenheim

Level 4 : 2,000/4,000, 300 ante

David Bord opened under the gun with a raise to 8,000 only to have David Oppenheim move all in for roughly 30,800. The blinds folded and Bord made the call.

Bord: {A-Spades}{8-Diamonds}
Oppenheim: {7-Spades}{7-Clubs}

The flop of {9-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{2-Spades} kept Oppenheim in the lead, and when the turn and river landed the {J-Clubs} and {3-Diamonds}, he doubled to over 67,000 in chips.

Oppenheim Pushes

Level 4 : 2,000/4,000, 300 ante

Following his sick cooler hand of running tens into jacks, David Oppenheim responded by pushing all in from under the gun.

Only Patrik Antonius gave the call some thought from the big blind, but eventually folded to see Oppenheim add some much-needed chips to his stack.

Preflop Cooler Equates to Bord Chip Lead

Level 4 : 2,000/4,000, 300 ante

David Oppenheim opened to 10,500 only to have James Bord ask for a count from the big blind once the action was on him.

"I've got about 170,000" stated Oppenheim.

"Ok. I'm all in!" replied Bord.

"All in? Really? The question is how much do you have?" responded Oppenheim.

"I've got about 165,000." answered Bord.

"I can lead him some so he has you covered!" jokingly stated Patrik Antonius.

Oppenheim stood up from his chair, went for a little walk before asking for some details on the payout structure - which Howard Lederer detailed for him.

"Can I have an exact count please?" asked Oppenheim.

As the dealer began counting down the chips, Oppenheim announced a call as the cards were placed on their back.

Oppenheim: {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Bord: {J-Clubs}{J-Hearts}

With Oppenheim being crushed in a pot that was worth over 288,000 (Bord's exact count was 142,500), the board was spread {Q-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{3-Clubs}{4-Hearts} to ensure Bord the double as Oppenheim was left crippled with just 30,000 in chips.

Limped Pot Results in Big Win for Boatman

Level 4 : 2,000/4,000, 300 ante

Barny Boatman limped in from under the gun, as did Patrik Antonius from the button.

"I want my cards back!" announced James Bord - obviously wanting to be involved in this family pot - after both David Oppenheim and Howard Lederer completed and checked their options respectively.

The {8-Spades}{5-Spades}{3-Hearts} flop was checked round to see the {6-Spades} land on the turn with Oppenheim leading for 11,000. Lederer deliberated for several moments before raising to 31,000 as Boatman was now put into the mini-tank before stating - in reference to Lederer's raise - "I was going to do that!"

Boatman spent a further minute deliberating before moving all in as now Antonius sat there pondering a call for his tournament life. After nearly three minutes, a visibly distressed Antonius slowly passed his cards towards the muck as Oppenheim did so also.

With the action back on Lederer, he quickly tossed his cards towards the muck as the pot was pushed towards Boatman.

"Wow! That was a sick hand!" uttered Antonius as Boatman stacked his chips to over 160,000.

Antonius Ships

Level 4 : 2,000/4,000, 300 ante

Howard Lederer entered the pot from the cutoff with a raise to 11,500 only to have Patrik Antonius move all in from the big blind for roughly 38,000.

Lederer passed, and Antonius collected the pot to move to 54,000.
