Phil Ivey, who has been fairly active preflop, bumped it up to 1,000. Patrik Antonius and Andrew Feldman called and they all saw a flop. The boys checked it around to the turn card, which got a check out of Feldman and Ivey, before Antonius decided to test the waters betting 1,400. Feldman folded, and Ivey made the call.
The river was the , and again Ivey checked to Antonius who this time bet out 5,000. Ivey didn't waste much time making the call, and both players flipped over the same hand. for Ivey, and for Antonius.
From the cutoff, Patrik Antonius raised to 1,200. David Benyamine and James Bord both made the call. The flop came down .
Antonius bet 3,200, Benyamine made the call, and Bord got out of the way.
The turn brought the and both players checked. On the river river, both players checked again. Benyamine showed and it was good enough to take the pot.
A few hands later, Benyamine raised it up to 3,000 and Antonius was the only player to make the call. Both players checked the flop. On the turn, Antonius tossed out a bet of 7,000. It didn't take Benyamine long to toss his cards in the muck.
Phil Ivey raised to 1,500 and David Benyamine made the call. Benyamine checked the flop, and Ivey bet 2,000. Benyamine came along for the ride, and the two saw the hit on the turn. Benyamine checked again, Ivey bet 5,000 and that ended things.
Ivey is right back to his starting stack of about 25,000.
It's tough with our setup to get chip counts, however we have much better access to the action at the table.
We didn't catch how things began, but there was a raise, a three-bet and what we do know is Jonathan "xMONSTERxDONGx" Karamalikis came back with an all-in shove. James Bord quickly made the call, and the two opened up.
Karmalikis was ahead with pocket tens, but was racing against the of the 2010 WSOP Europe Main Event champion. The board bricked out, reading and Karamalikis doubled his 17.5k stack up to a little over 35,000 with the blinds and antes.
Bord on the other hand is our short stack, and has already begun shoving liberally.
Phil Ivey made it 2,000 to go and found callers in James Bord and Jonathan Karamalikis.
The flop came down . Bord and Karamalikis checked to Ivey who bet 4,000. Bord then moved all in and Karamalikis got out of the way.
"How much?" Ivey asked. The dealer counted out Bord's stack. It was 8,500 for Ivey to call. After some thought, he tossed in a handful of grey (T1,000) chips, making the call.
Bord tabled pocket fours for a flopped set. Ivey showed for a pair of jacks.
The turn and river brought queens, filling up Bord. He doubled to 21,000, while Ivey was crippled.
James Bord raised it up, and Ivey slid the rest of his paltry stack, only about 3,000 to the center from the button. Bord put in the few chips needed to call, and the two were off to the races; Bord holding , and Ivey with pocket fours.
The flop all but ended things, dropping . The turn and would do nothing for Phil Ivey, ending his evening here in Studio 3 at the Crown Casino.
