Karmazinas Bombs Away, Buchanan Busts

Dominykas Karmazinas is known to be an agressive player, and he just got paid of in a massive pot against Shawn Buchanan. Buchanan raised to 1,000 from the small blind after which Karmazinas made it 2,900 from the big blind.

Buchanan made the call and the flop was {J-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}. The Canadian check-called 3,300 and the turn was the {5-Hearts}. After Buchanan checked Karmazinas threw in 7,300 and he got called again. The river was the {9-Hearts} and Buchanan checked for the third time. Karmazinas threw a big bomb as he put Buchanan all-in for what seemed to be around 40,000 chips.

Buchanan recently won the $10,000 6-max at the PCA but this was not gonna be his tournament. He tanked for over five minutes and than decided to commit his stack. Karmazinas confidently turned over {K-Diamonds}{K-Spades} and took down this massive pot just before the break.

Borge Dypvik
Borge Dypvik

We didn't catch the action but shortly after the break we lost the young Norwegian Borge Dypvik. Matt Jarvis explained us what happened.

Jonathan Karamalikis raisted under the gun and Borge Dypvik decided to shove. Elliot Smith was in the big blind and he came over the top getting Karamalikis to fold. Dypvik ran his pocket queens into the kings of Smith who is now well over the starting stack.

Hachem Kills Lunkin's Kings

Vitaly Lunkin raised to 1,500 under the gun and got called by three players. The flop came down {Q-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{3-Spades} and after Billy Jordanou checked from the big blind, Lunkin bet 3,500. After Mike Watson folded Hachem called and Jordanou also let go of his hand.

The turn was the {2-Diamonds} and Lunkin now checked to Hachem who bet 4,500. Lunkin tanked for a while before calling and they went heads up to the river. The river was the {9-Spades} and Lunkin checked again. Hachem grabbed for chips and threw in 9,500. Lunkin counted his stack multiple times but couldn't find a fold. Hachem showed {5-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for a straight and Lunkin mucked his {K-Clubs}{K-Diamonds} face up.
