Ioffe Downs Two Post Break

Igor Ioffe opened to 3,000 from the cutoff and was called by the button. John McMurry also called from the small blind before the big blind moved all in for 17,000.

Ioffe then jammed as the bigger stack and the button called off their last 40,000 before McMurry folded.

Ioffe had much to dodge to scoop the pot and even had more cards to fade following the 8♣4♣3♥ flop.

The Q♠ turn and 6♥ river helped neither of the at-risk players and Ioffe took in the chips.

Silver Goes Runner Runner to Double

Nick Maimone opened to 2,500 from under the gun and Nate Silver called form middle position. Dann Turner three-bet to 11,500 from the small blind and both players called.

Turner continued for 13,000 on the 10♣4♣4♦ flop which pushed out Maimone. Silver then jammed for 28,500 and was snap-called.

The 9♣ turn gave Silver a flush draw which came in on the 2♣ river and he scooped in a stack boosting pot.
