Lambrecht Knocks out Munroe

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Gavin Munroe had 14,500 left in his stack when he decided to wager it all preflop. Action folded around to Matthew Lambrecht who shrugged and made the call to put Munroe at risk.

Gavin Munroe: A8
Matthew Lambrecht: KQ

Munroe was ahead going in with his ace-high but the flop of K38 gave Lambrecht the lead with his pair of kings.

Munroe needed to catch another eight or an ace to stay alive, but the 4J runout did not do it for him, and he was eliminated from the tournament.

The Tanking Epidemic

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Roman Rogovskyi opened to 2,700 from the button but was then three-bet to 14,500 by the big blind.

After thinking about it for a second, Rogovskyimade the call and the two went to a flop of Q710 and the big blind continued for 11,000.

After some deep thought, Rogovskyi called once more and the duo went to the turn 10.

After taking 30 seconds for the big blind to check, Rogovskyi also went deep into the tank only to check back to see the 9 fall on the river.

The big blind then tanked yet again, for almost a full minute this time before checking it over to Rogovskyi, who also sat there for a full two minutes.

He finally announced he was all in, and the big blind didn't spend any more time thinking before he made the fold, and the pot was pushed to Rogovskyi.

Meanwhile, at a neighboring table, Dan Shak was complaining about how slow his table was with so many people tanking.
