With play 400 big blinds deep to start the day, players at Table 18 decided to "straddle" and "double straddle". The preflop actions would of course be deemed blind raises as straddling is not permitted.
Action folded around to Danylo Turov in the big blind who raised to 2,500 which was called by Margarette Zayao under-the-gun and Danny Chang to her left in the "straddles"
On the 8♠7♦5♠ flop, Turov led for 3,000 and was called by Zayao before Chang raised to 19,000.
"You guys are f***ing donkeys," Gayao playfully exclaimed at the site of Chang's raise.
Turov folded but Zayao called with just 400 chips behind. The last of it of course went in on the J♣ turn and the cards were revealed with Zayao at risk.
Margarette Zayao: A♣Q♣5♥5♦
Danny Chang: Q♠8♣7♠6♦
Zayao's set of fives was ahead of Chang's two pair and a straight draw, and with the J♠ river, she doubled up and then some after dropping some chips early to start the day.
"Ship it to baby mama!" said Gayao, to the smiles and laughter of the table, including Chang.
