Larry Carney Eliminated in 19th Place ($3,206)

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Tom Krol made it 26k from the button and Larry Carney pushed all in for his last 140,000.

Krol made the call with {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} and was well ahead of Carney's {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs}. He picked up some extra outs on the {7-}{6-}{4-}{5-} flop and turn, but Carney went broke after the {6-} river.

Now down to 18 remaining, the tournament staff have redrawn for seats at the final three tables of six.

Andre Baillargeon "Smith" Eliminated in 18th Place ($3,684)

Just a few hands after doubling up with pocket aces, Andre Baillargeon "Smith" found himself pondering a call for his tournament life.

William Vogel had put him all in on the {7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{a-Spades}{a-Diamonds} board.

"I might make the sickest call of my life here," he said. "I have king high and I might call. It doesn't matter. I call."

Vogel turned over {a-Hearts}{7-Spades} for the full house and Baillargeon's king-high hit the muck as he hit the rail.

Jim Girldlestone Eliminated in 17th Place ($3,684)

In a battle of the blinds, Husni Aga and Jim Girldlestone saw a flop of {9-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{2-Hearts}. Aga led out for 30,000 and Girldlestone moved all-in for 74,000 more. After getting an exact count, Aga made the call with {9-Spades}{3-Clubs}. Girdlestone was behind with {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}. The {A-Spades} turn and {6-Diamonds} river failed to improve Girdlestone, who exited in 16th place for $3,684.

Colao moved all in from the small blind with {9-}{5-} and Przybyl called with {A-}{8-}. The better hand held up through the river, and Colao made his way to the cashier.

Facing a 26k open from Michael Wachowski, Dietrich Kuhlmann shipped it in for an additional 113k.

After a good three minutes in the tank, Wachowski made the call and a classic race was on with Kuhlmann holding {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} and Wachowski on {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}.

The {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{9-Hearts} flop was a good one for Wachowski, and after the {4-Clubs} turn and {a-Hearts} river, Kuhlmann's run at the DeepStacks Seneca Niagara title ended.

Michael Mizrachi Eliminated in 14th Place ($4,415)

Michael Mizrachi 14th Place
Michael Mizrachi 14th Place

Michael Mizrachi's rollercoaster ride through the DeepStacks Western New York Poker Championship has come to an end. After losing a sizeable pot to Nachman Berlin moments earlier, Mizrachi open shoved for his last 52,000 from the button with {A-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}. Berlin folded in the small blind, but Mike Crystal peeked down at {A-Spades}{10-Diamonds} in the big blind and made the call.

A {Q-Clubs}{9-Spades}{5-Hearts} flop gave "The Grinder" the lead ... momentarily. After the dealer rolled over the {2-Spades} on the turn, the {10-Spades} spiked on the river to give Crystal a higher pain and the win. Mizrachi began Day 2 with the chip lead and provided everyone here at Seneca Niagara will several memorable moments during his deep run. The thirteen players remaining can breathe a deep sigh of relief now that the last member of Team Deepstacks has been eliminated.
